Maria Ackerman, president of Biocidin Botanicals, has worked in the health and wellness industry for more than 20 years. Beyond specializing in organizational development and operations, she has extensive experience in product innovation and manufacturing in the nutraceutical market. She is hands-on in product development at Biocidin Botanicals and is knowledgeable about ingredient quality and sourcing, manufacturing practices, sustainability, and product purity.
Dr. Chris D'Adamo
Dr. Chris D’Adamo is the director of the Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. As an epidemiologist and researcher, he has been the Principal Investigator in numerous clinical trials and observational studies. He is an expert in research methodologies and their applications to Integrative and Functional Medicine and has authored more than 60 articles for numerous peer-reviewed scientific and medical journals. Dr. D’Adamo is an inaugural member of the Biocidin Botanicals Scientific Advisory Board.
