Tom Malterre began his love affair with nutrition at the tender age of 10. And it was all thanks to his family doctor who helped Tom’s family heal with dietary recommendations alone. Since then, he has earned two degrees in nutritional sciences from Bastyr University. Tom has worked as a medical affairs member at Thorne Research, trained physicians across North America as faculty for the Institute for Functional Medicine, and he wrote The Elimination Diet. Currently the Director of Education at Seeking Health, Tom teaches practitioners the power of gene analysis combined with nutraceutical therapies for optimal clinical outcomes.
